Charles B. Johnson 72, of Benton Harbor MI, heard the master say, “Well done thy good and faithful servant” and transitioned from earthly labor to his heavenly reward. Legacy celebration will be on Saturday October 28th, 2017 at 11am, located at the Pentecostal Apostolic Faith Peace Temple. Twilight service of remembrance will be on Friday Oct. 27th, from 5-7pm where family and friends can gather for remarks and expressions.

It was an amazingly sunny day in the great city of Blytheville Arkansas on June 30th, 2017 to be exact that Mr. Charles Young and Marie Johnson welcomed a screaming bouncing baby boy into the world, after much though and consideration, they decided to name their bundle of joy Charles .

Growing up, Charles was a very hard working, and patient frame. From the cotton fields of Arkansas, he was starting his journey and cultivating his craft. Having his independent mindset, Charles, being led by GOD took a leap of faith and embarked on a career that would soon change his life. Throughout his journey with many different employment opportunity’s, in 1993, the vision came to pass and C & D Asphalt came into existence.  Charles was an innovative, progressive, humanitarian, who had a genuine heart for people and who left a positive lasting impression on whomever he came into contact with.

      While working hard, Charles met Linda Childs, and asked to take her hand in marriage, They took the next step and were married on October 16th, 1999. In Charles spare time, you could find him with family, laughing and enjoying himself, on the peaceful banks of Lake Michigan fishing.

Those left with precious memories, his loving wife, Linda Johnson of Benton Harbor MI, and a great host of children, and extended relatives and friends.
