Welcome to the memorial page for

Bobby Mosley

July 15, 1960 ~ October 12, 2017 (age 57)

Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity.

Bobby Mosley 57, of Benton Harbor transitioned from earthly labor on October 9th, 2017. Life Celebration Service will commence Friday October 20th 2017, at 4pm at the Historic Robbins Brothers Funeral Home.

It was a warm sunny day on July 15th, 1960 in the great city of Luxora, AR that Marshall and Ruthie Mosely welcomed a screaming, bouncing baby boy into the world, after much thought and consideration they decided to name their bundle of joy Bobby.

Bobby received his formal education from Benton Harbor High School and graduated with the Class of 1972. Upon completion of his education, he became self employed as a artist serving faithfully in the community.  Bobby was a native artist and participated in many art shows around the state.  He was one of eight artists that made up the Southwest Michigan Black Artists Group.

Bobby awaits the resurrection hope, to be reunited with his love ones in paradise, Ruthie Lee Mosley (Williams) and Marshall Mosley Jr.; stepfather, Daniel Alexander Brown; uncles, William Booth and Leroy Booth; aunts, Idell Moore and Lena Ross; niece, Breanna Mosley; and his grandmother, Ruth Booth, all of whom he loved and cherished.

Bobby is lovingly remembered by his brothers Johnny Mosley and Marshall Mosley, II; sisters, Mary Jean Brown and Brenda Lee Bowens; nieces, Shayla Marie Mosley, Alaysha Danyelle Mosley, Tiara Mosley, Alizae Mosley; great niece, Maleigha Tobar; nephews, Jo’Mari Hassel, Crispin Whitfield, III, Sean Mosley; aunts, Pearlie Mae Booth and Margaret Braggs, along with many other relatives and friends
