Beverly Ann (Welcome) Ross, 78, of Benton Harbor transitioned on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Services will be held Monday, July 10, 2017 at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1105 E. Main St., Benton Harbor. Viewing at 11am and homegoing celebration at noon. Interment will take place at Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor.

Beverly was born to Charles Butler and Evelyn Welcome on August 4, 1938 in Galesburg, IL.

Beverly was a customer service rep for over 15 years at Walmart. She loved to sing, entertain, socialize and nurture her plants and flowers. She was a proud member of a local motorcycle club called the “Midnight Riders.”

She is survived by her husband, Joe Ross; three sons: William (Army Kay) Brimite of Blytheville, AR, Calvin (Edna) Brimite, Sr. and Joe (Angie) Brimite, Jr., all of Benton Harbor; five daughters: Vanessa Simmons of Las Vegas, Roschell Brimite of Jacksonville, NC, Joyce Allen of Sacramento, CA, and Nikki Brimite of Benton Harbor; 26 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren; and two canine “sons”, Bud and Miller.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
